I looked at Xero and found out why your VAT is duplicated This is because Square the card provider sends transactions to Xero sale by sale and then raises the invoice in Xero Then VATs them In addition, their bank is connected to Xero, so when reconciling the money, they added VAT without knowing inovices had been raised
