Massachusetts gold sites, CT and NH also | TreasureNet. com
Gold has always had a fascination about it the truth is there are more mines that can be richer in metal deposits than a gold mine, but they dont have the aura gold does. You probably could make more money with a sand and gravel pit if it was close to a market. This is also true of placer mining for gold, the richest deposits are spotty.

How valuable is " 120 Gold Filled" jewelry? What is meant by 120 Gold Filled? I bought a Walking Liberty half-dollar necklace with a bezel and rope necklace that are marked with that term. Today I was on YouTube watching an interview of Pat Keene by Prospector Jess. Equipment to catch your super fines? - TreasureNet
The problem is, the superfine gold usually doesnt add up to much and its hard to justify the time and effort required to catch it. If filling the vial is the goal then you need to work on production and volume. Simply stated, a little gold is usually mixed with a lot of worthless gravel, the more gravel you wash, the more gold you get.
