I'm helping a friend uninstall this program We ran Revo in hunter mode (I had to start Wave Browser before killing it with hunter mode), then uninstalled it with Revo, which included a scan for leftover files, deleting registry entries, and deleting several folders

Wave browser is more of a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) than a virus If you have troubled removing it try scanning with Adwcleaner and Malwarebytes, but I would suggest that even If you believe that you removed it it would be good to still scan your system with HitmanPro, Malwarebytes, Kaspersky virus Removal Tool, ESET online scanner and Emisoft emergency kit

i use GoGuardian for my school environment - and their windows options has a detailed program on it if youre some what familiar with GPOs its User Configuration>policies>administrative template>System>Dont run specified windows applications then enter what the exes are for the browsers you do not want them to run, for example iexplorer exe
