They're all great swords, but canonically speaking Yamato and Sparda are stronger than the Rebellion And I would imagine Yamato being stronger than DSS cause we have seen what the Yamato does in gameplay and cutscenes and in lore but the best DSS force edge has done in most media (that I am aware of, I might be wrong) is just a substitute for Rebellion and we haven't seen it do anything else

Maybe through the years the Sparda has be enabsorbing demonic energy from the demons Dante has killed and sending it to Sparda himself to bring him back It would be similar to when V fused with Urizen and since Urizen ate the fruit and also had the Yamato the energy restored Vergil's link to the Yamato, his body and his soul

Sparda takes some time to rest and adjust to his new life and new roll I like the idea that Sparda visited Fortuna and Vie de Marlie, but I do not believe Sparda ruled Fortuna as a feudal lord I like the idea, much more, that Fortuna is a natural "soft spot" between the realms, and is often plagued by demonic outbreak
