- Use household cleaning items on your car? | The H. A. M. B.
I also use SOS pads a lot in the shop The soap on them acts as a lubricant while you're cleaning stuff I've used it on old metal signs and tool boxes, stainless trim, garage sale tools, white walls, etc Use it delicately It's a ham-fisted appraoch to some cleaning solutions, but I always keep a box in the shop
- Projects - Old patina painting technique | The H. A. M. B.
You can use wet SOS pads to clean your chrome up a bit too if you want (not stainless) Looks like you have the patina look already but I understand wanting a little cleaner less orange rust look, you may even want to talk to someone about buffing it out a little, I dont know how to do that correctly myself but I need to learn Good luck!

If you don't have a title for the new cab I think Russco is on the right track If it is something from a junkyard that has surrendered the title for a junking certificate then you will have to deal with the SOS Police to get a new VIN Once a junking certificate is issued in Illinois it is not able to be titled again

If there is silicone type dressing on parts you might have to use tolulene base cleaners, but I have had the best luck scrubbing with sos pads and comet cleanser Trick seems to be getting any oily stuff out of the pores Then dont paint in hi humidity or temps below 70 degrees, cause it is paint and those parts are flexible
- Why are suicide knobs called so? | The H. A. M. B. - The Jalopy Journal
