Reze sort of transcends that role of a one-arc antagonist for a lot of people because, with her assumedly still being alive, there's still an impact she could make on the story and Denji Also, for my money, her fight with Denji is probably the best fight in the whole series so far

Reze is great because she feels so impactful even if she exists in so few chapters, every line said feels like it’s not wasted, everything about her is incredibly succinct and she’s presented as this tragic foil to Denji that is exacerbated in its tragedy with that bit at the end, especially when we hear about her past through that

Reze didn't die that time, hybrids CAN'T die unless you rip their heart off, Quanxi herself was decapitaded three times and survived every single one of them because she's a hybrid Denji splitted Katana Man in HALF and in the next chapter he's perfectly okay (chapter 37-38), he never died,they capture him alive, you were mistaken about that

I agree that she and some of the other hybrids will come back, somehow I think that her and Quanxi will come back: they are both characters with huge potential and just look at the pattern in part 2 about old situations and characters coming back; plus I really want to see a weird love triangle between Denji, Reze and Asa, with Yoshida and Yoru trying to figure out the best thing to do and

Basically I’ve been wondering the meaning of Reze’s name, and I have a friend called Ezer I realized that ezer backwards is Reze, which ezer is a name present in the Bible, and given the fact that ChainsawMan is a manga with a lot of Christianity references I got to the conclusion that this might be the meaning of Reze’s name Which might be Denji’s helper, due to the context of the manga

Considering that the latter 2 3 of part 1 have a lot of short fast chapters, making the Reze arc into a movie leaves just about the perfect amount of material left for a cour International Assassins and the Control Devil arc are super eventful, but they happen so fast, 12-14 episodes is all that you’d need
