- how to connect reolink cameras with Dahua NVR - IP Cam Talk
Reolink in the past has had a number of compatibility issues with specs this is what I would try at this point, put the Reolink on an IP PoE switch, set it to the IP on the LAN side of the Dahua NVR and then set the camera to ONVIF and "manually" add that IP address you have assigned to the camera to the Dahua NVR, indicating it to use ONVIF
- Alternatives to Reolink? - IP Cam Talk
The reolink hate is strong I see To be clear, yes, I have read about Reolink problems and after that I'm not planning on buying anything reolink, I'm saying the quality of the 822A video to me looks right around what I want for the price, so looking for recommendations for other brand cameras with similar specs eg have mic, have on camera person detection while giving similar camera quality
- Reolink - good bad - IP Cam Talk
Reolink isn't so bad after having it for close to a month, it has a decent picture, the apps are easy to use and there is no setup or learning curve Dahua seems to be 10000000% better but not many need all those features I will not state or say reolink is the greatest but for the price and what you might be using it for it might work for you
- Which system is better, Reolink or Lorex - IP Cam Talk
Reolink: Deconstruction of a dangerous misleading youtube review "Finding the BEST 4K Security Camera NVR Package (Reolink vs Amcrest vs Swann)" Executive Summary: DO NOT be a sheep Ask what a reviewer can be missing, ask if a reviewer is using hype words to sell the cheapest product
- Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR - IP Cam Talk
the Reolink RLC-410 and RLC-420 share the exact same firmware These are identical cameras just in different housings I thought it may be a port setting issue, but the Reolink use ONVIF 8000 HTTP 80 I have NOT tried putting an SD card into the camera and setting up storage in the Reolink client software
- Reolink alternatives that get close to the price? | IP Cam Talk
Hi @Leith1812 Reolink do have a large fan base, and given how affordable they are, I can appreciate it However, the real question those fans fail to often address is "fit for purpose" and cost of installation tco once you factor that in as well as other comparative measures - then you can see that often a bit more investment in cameras ( like the Dahua OEM cameras or even Hikvision OEM
- G4 Doorbell vs Reolink - IP Cam Talk
The reolink seems to get some love here and unifi is just plain expensive I actually have the reolink currently and it is fine, it works and sends the feed to BI I probably turned off phone alerts, because it never notifies me any more, so probably best to disable the internet access all together as there havent been any recent patches
- Comparision of ReoLink RLC-811A vs Amcrest IP8M-2796EW-AI, etc for . . .
The Reolink blew the Amcrest away for detection - to the point where it was pretty shocking (detection on the Reolink was the default of 60, and set to maximum on the Amcrest - upped it to see if that would help) I had to be within about 15 feet of the Amcreset for it to have a chance at picking me up The Reolink would pick me up at about 30
