We have also tested other 3rd party embed options and these work fine These include i redgifs com which was configured after the gfycat redgifs split It appears that the issue specifically effects RedGIFs video links which again hints at gfycat, or at least something Reddit side, as being the root of the issue

(Sorry to scream, but this is important information, and I don't see it anywhere in this conversation ) The company Gfycat used to own Redgifs What they originally did was segregate all their porn content to this site instead of Gfycat Then they sold Redgifs to get rid of the porn altogether
