For me outplayed and one other app (replays lol) keep recording a weird screeching sound, even with mic sound deactivated just in case I use replay HUD for now I use replay HUD for now Too bad I liked Outplayed interface, replay HUD is too slow to show thumbnails and load clips + no sound at all

I have been using Outplayed and Overwolf since 2022 and all my game captures was fine until recently I got messages from outplayed that says "capture failed" whenever I try to clip instant replays for Valorant and Genshin Impact It also says "capture encoder error" at the beginning of my game

Whenever i go into a game the overlay says that outplayed is recording, i can start and stop bookmarks and the overlay appears to tell me when i do that, alt tabbing out of the game the windows task bar shows my microphone is being used by overwolf obs, exiting the game my microphone shoes it being used, stops being in use and when i outplayed

It took quite a while to solve the issue but I finally determined after virus scans and lengthy examination that somehow the malware came from overwolf (despite resetting my computer, it reinstalled itself) Be careful out there for malware, especially related to overwolf

I'm from Or from Overwolf and I came across your post I just wanted to clarify that Overwolf's Appstore offers apps that are created by different development team (mostly 3rd parties and not Overwolf itself), so reviews for one app do not indicate anything about another app I would recommend checking out Buff and Outplayed for yourself :)
