My former kayak was a 14 6 Native Watercraft sit inside It had the elevated mesh aluminum seat, which definitely helped with comfort, casting and standing I added a cushion and could fish for several hours without tiring If you can find an aftermarket seat like the one @fishinbug linked, you'll probably noticeably appreciate the difference
