I have a 1g with some strange issues I need to set my idle to about 1000rpms I believe and am having trouble doing so Can someone give me a full write up on how to do this correctly? I was super patient with making adjustments and nothing ever changed Reading 120 ICS Position drops down to maybe 90 sometimes and goes back up

I would only suggest getting a true block off plate if you are deciding to eliminate the ICS as well as you will be able to remove the whole lower half of the throttle body ICS removal is not suggested on a daily driver as you will have cold start idling issues Tools Required: These tools are required to block the FIAV #9679; Flat Head Screw

So I have no ac, no powersteering What would I risk if anything by just deleting my ISC?Edit:In case you want to know why I wish to delete it, I am suffering from idle surge and have traced the cause to the ISC These things are rather expernsive new I can make a block off for like 5$

I read ALL 20-some pages on a search for key word "throttle" so dont say I didnt try lolturbo and N T are the same 1990 - the odd year - larger TPS - ISC with extended harness - nipples are different91-94 are all the same a 90 CANNOT be put on a 91-94 a 91-94 CAN be put on

If you are going to remove both the ICS and FIAV it would be good to get a block off plate so you can remove the lower half of the TB to clean up the bay If you are going to only block the FIAV, turn the valve in all the way and it will close off the passage way No need for a bypass plate

Replaced a leaky BISS o-ring, new throttle gaskets, adjusted TPS, swapped old ICS which tested fine and the current one tested same, I just rebuilt a 2nd ECU tonight and will be swapping it tomorrow, ECU in there now has 4-5years on current rebuild
