I used to love Frys before they shut down because they had almost everything Even Radio Shack was decent too Now that Frys is closed and since the nearest Micro Center is in Los Angeles, what other stores offer a similar variety of PC parts and electronic components in Sac or nearby? Yes used to go there quite often, way better customer service than Frys too I don’t know exactly what played into them leaving Santa Clara (could have been Frys presence at the time) but also heard they got priced rented out of the space, guess the landlord wanted way more for the spot when it was up for renew

We have babies at home too and haven't done a full grocery run in person in a while My wife was doing frys but says Safeway is pretty good too I think their return refund policy is pretty good too Sometimes we get everything through pickup and then one of us does a quick produce only run at sprouts

I believe that location used to be Fred Meyers and was rebranded to Frys shortly after I moved to tukee circa 2002-3 It used to have a lot more stuff esp hardware It was like a mini Ace hardware but they took most of it out They did go back and add back more non grocery stuff, mostly clothes maybe a decade ago

I think what killed Frys was that it was over diversified and delayed their online presence The only things that I've bought from Frys in the twenty years that I was shopping them was computer components That being said I did spend more in their Cafe and snacks then I did in any other department besides computers
