Interestingly enough, in daylight, when testing sunset or bedtime mode via flux preferences, manual brightness adjustment via dedicated keys does not trigger flashing, but moving to a room with closed curtains is a surefire way to trigger it Reported this to Apple via feedback app

made an account just to add to this thread so the people who make flux might someday do this: just make it off by default i love flux and i'm still glad i got it, but this "backwards alarm clock" thing is genuinely confusing, i scanned the options menu 3 separate times, thinking i must be missing something, before googling it and finding this

Hello, I'm trying for at least 2 months to update my f lux from v4 134 to the latest BETA I did everything I could, I uninstalled f lux multiple times, sadly nothing works

Long time flux user, just upgraded to a new laptop I'm getting red artifacts in pictures and videos when flux is active and changing colors This isn't related to screen scrolling, the artifacts appear wether scrolling or not Picture of a screen image (taken with my phone) attached Flux details:

The color effect changes to a setting immediately that should help reduce eyestrain for long-term use of the computer (like all day)
