123 Lite is better for me, as I've got a Santander mortgage If you did switch, you'd keep the same account number and overdraft anyway Although I've got an Edge account as well for the Saver, but I don't get charged the fee as theres no direct debits coming out of it

Santander online banking is down this morning There have been multiple reports on downdetector co uk and on the Santander X site Santander say they are aware and are working on it but also that the app is working fine I can concur with that having just logged into the app

My mother has now got online banking with Santander and initially logged in with the temporary ID she received I told her this would change to the 16-digit number on her debit card (like mine is) but apparently this is not the case She recalls having to choose some login passwords or sequences but can't quite remember

Just opened my Santander banking app and got a message saying 'allow Santander to make and manage phone calls' and 'allow Santander to know the location of nearby devices' This is so they can protect you from spam phone calls using 'san protect' Has anybody else had this? I wonder how it works as obviously there is no guarantee the Santander app is running when a spam phone call arrives

The 123 account was great since I have a Santander mortgage and all my bills, council tax though I am due to remortgage soon and my energy provider (Octopus) no longer gets a reward, I think I don't really want to move to a new bank right at the moment (mid divorce, enough going on!) - is it worth asking Santander to change my existing account to a different product?
