- Can Fast Forward Go Faster? : r DeSmuME - Reddit
So the best method I found to speed up the pokemon games on desmume is to unlimit the frame rate through the toggle hotkey Even if I combine it with the fast forward command it just makes the game choppy and laggy instead of actualling fast forwarding
- Controller support? (Page 1) Support DeSmuME forums
Using DeSmuME v0 9 9 The odd thing was, it worked fine with 0 9 8, but due to issues I was having involving save paths and whatnot, I ended up deleting it entirely I then redownloaded both 0 9 8 AND 0 9 9 and neither of them worked with the controller I've tried different USB ports as well Any help would be appreciated
- Lost my save, I _should_ be able to load from a backup, but . . . - DeSmuME
I've tried editing the ini file to make it use the new DeSmuMe folder for the "Battery" setting, but that also doesn't help It's overwriting the copy of the backup that I put into the correct folder with new, blank save data when I quit the emulator, so it's clearly *supposed* to be loading same backup file when it loads the game
- Pokemon HeartGold SoulSilver (U) READ IF YOUR GAME FREEZES . . . - DeSmuME
*If you didn't download the emulator from the official Desmume site then it WON'T WORK, no matter what youtube guide you used *Use 0 9 7 There may be a slight speed drop from 0 9 6 and below, but if you use 0 9 6 and below and you face an antipiracy then I'm not gonna answer your questions Feel free to ask any questions regarding this game here
- Is there a way I can fast-forward properly? (Page 1 . . . - DeSmuME
By properly I actually mean, (not to compare with any other emulator in quality) fast, when I try to fast forward in Desmume (and other DS emulators) it doesn't speed really that much and the fps just drop (though the FPS rate goes higher, I see it skips some frames)
- How to optomize Desumme emulator for better viewing.
First apparently desmume doesn't like not being in full screen when you have any filters applied (magnification filters that make the video clearer) Also the basic screen gap settings, also found in the view tab can be a bit jarring Also never try to adjust window size while screen gap is set to "editable via border dragging"
- Accidentally overwrote a save file, can I get that file back . . . - DeSmuME
I don't know a lot about how the emulator works, but basically when loading a ROM of pokemon black up, I accidentally clicked 'save state' instead of 'load state' and now it seems that my saved file with my progress is gone
- DeSmuMe is pretty good now : r emulation - Reddit
I only tested Pokémon Platinun on both MelonDS has bit black spots on the overworld, DeSmuME still displays weird bkack dots on the overworld Both run at full speed here (OGL renderer, Pentium G4560, 8 GB DDR4, GT 1030 2 GB GDDR2) MelonDS consumes more RAM, but is less CPU intensive, and DeSmuME is the oposite
