I have used my Coleman tree for years and love it You indicated you bought hoses, They make hoses that go from the tree and to the appliance I would recommend you take the hoses back and exchange them for the corrrect hose Be careful and watch, because the hoses do come in different lengths

thanks Allen I know the Coleman isn't a performance boat I just want to make sure it will move through the water without a ton of effort I won't be using a trolling motor on it - at least not for a while I'll mostly be on the water by myself so I'll need a canoe that I can move along the lakeshore at a reasonable pace without killing myself

Getting back into the camping game after about a 30 year hiatus I've been researching equipment and right now I'm focused on camp stoves, specifically Coleman stoves For you experts that have owned them, in your experience, which model is the hands-down, absolute best? In case you didn't know, Coleman stamps the date on the bottom Sometimes it's the full year like "1963" and other times it's just "63" I picked up a neat one at a garage sale a few years back It's dated 1958 and is olive colored instead of the normal forest green or firehouse red It also has a small funnel attached by a chain lanyard

IMHO, the older metal coolers were made very well externally, but internally, not so much We owned a 54 quart metal coleman for years, and i distinctly remember the ice melting overnight Not sure if the metal exterior increased heat transfer or not, but certainly nowhere near as efficient as the Coleman Extreme series they have now

Just to clarify we are talking about rain water leaking and not AC coolant 1995 Coleman pop up camper Here is what I did, I hope it helps On top of your camper the AC unit has a caulk seal all around it This seal keeps the AC unit up off the roof about 1 4 inch A plastic gutter (trim piece) drains water from under the AC off the roof
