- What Happened to . . . . Break Free CLP? | Trapshooters Forum
I've been slowly switching to Slip 2000 EWL as my supply of BreakFree dwindles The EWL isn't the best cleaner, but it is a better lube, and I have many other cleaners (Hoppe's #9 and #9 Copper cleaner, etc ) Heard that Q-Maxx Blu is good stuff too, just haven't gotten around to picking some up yet

'Cleaning' involves one of several products - aimed more specifically at what I am trying to remove - dirt powder, lead, copper, plastic, etc Can be Hoppes #9 (the 'old' formula), Slip 2000, BreakFree, Shooters Choice, the list is endless (heck - I even use BrakeClean) Match the chemicals to the job

Breakfree for 1100's Put it on, let it sit over night and then wipe down and put the gun back together For my A400 is just use a few drops of oil, but there made to shoot for several hundreds shells or more (even over a thousand) between cleanings
- CLEANING 391 BERETTA - Trapshooters Forum
Now, everybody I know uses Breakfree CLP I spray some on virtually every part of the internal mechanism, including the piston, gas valve, springs, magazine tube, connecting rod, etc Where before hard carbon deposits use to form and were hard to remove; now with the film of oil, it is much easier to clean the 391
