    You don't say which year he was born in I've just checked 1875-1890 and find 3 Donald McDonald's listed as born Dingwall: 1877 1883 1885 Also 2 Catherines - 1879 and 1889 It's best to do a broad search on surnames - either using wildcards or soundex The Mc and Macs are often written differently I hope one of these is yours Regards Gadget
