FedLoan transfered your loans to Aidvantage since they got out of the Student Loan game at the end of last year Late January is when people who had accounts with FedLoan were finally able to access their Advantage accounts I had to request my refund again from Aidvantage as my request with FedLoan didn't transfer with my account

I posted this in another thread, as silly as it sounds make sure you are using your aidvantage login info Password managers are pulling studentaid gov logins over aidvantage logins because of the url change (I think it is because of the url structure ending in the same thing) I only noticed because my username for studentaid ends with @gmail

Fellow Aidvantage person I have paid off each loan in full individually seeing its balance to $0 and “payment status at received ” Its takes about 5 bus days for it to process all the way through Once i see this change i move to the next loan Its a little slower but i have found this to be “cleaner ”

Update: I called Aidvantage a few days ago and they confirmed that my statement's due date is correct Portal date + $0 due is just a "software artifact " Called a couple times just to make sure the answer was the same According to them, the statement is the source of truth

I then called Aidvantage and spoke to a nice lady who put me on a more affordable IDR plan of $288 mo starting on 12 28 instead of 11 28 Totally doable; I shouldn't have messed with it in the first place, if I'm being honest Anyway, fast forward to today, 12 28, and I log into Aidvantage to submit my payment for $288
