ASIO4ALL is not the best solution to your problem It's a bandaid fix at best If there's a problem with multi-core performance on your DAW, you need to resolve that problem ASIO4ALL "wraps" a card's WDM driver to create an ASIO driver It suffers from slightly higher latency than the stock driver (This can be measured with the CEntrance tool)

I just uninstalled and reinstalled asio4all The file was an immediate download, no file to unzip I opened up music creator again, and there was still nothing in the midi controls dialog box, and in options>audio I get "ASIO4ALL v2 headphone speakers 1" and "asio4all v2 HD audio microphone 1 " still no sound I will try again after restarting

Asio4all I've been trying to get low latency with my built in soundcard but as we all know its pretty much impossible, until i found asio4all It worked with my softsynths and vsts It was also found in FLstudio I've been trying to get it to work with sonar 6 However Sonar does not find it Is there a way to guide sonar to the asio4all driver

To this day I'm still amazed that ASIO4ALL got as big as it did and that somehow a whole generation of new musicians thinks that is the best thing to use by default So weird Not judging the OP, it just started as this tiny little app for a small subset of people with REALLY crap onboard soundcard drivers
