The signal comes into the module from the head unit via AquaBus USB cable and is then served out via 1Link ports with the addition of the 24v power outlet Now, to answer your question If you need 1Link ports on your secondary tank and you have a long enough AquaBus cable to run it from the main tank to the secondary, then 1Link module will work

A 1Link port has 2 lines for power and 2 for data That is the idea of 1link, 1 cable takes over for 2 Apex also has 24V DC with no control That is not 1link, it is just 24V DC The cable in the link above has the connector for Apex 24V on one end and bare wires on the other In the related products there is a 10' 1link

It is a 1Link port, but it is only to connect the DOS for its own power and data connection It cannot be used as a source of power for any other module You can connect the Trident or the DOS using an AquaBus cable and the $30 power adapter:

The 1link still works if you need the extra 24V or 1link ports That module does require a power supply to be plugged in for the 1link module to supply the 24V If you also need outlets in addition to the extra 24V and 1link ports, EB832 is better
- Neptune trident wont power on. . . . I tried my spare trident and wont . . .
If the CAN in the trident blew wouldn't it still power up over 1Link (just no comms)? As you know I had to do a TON of CAN replacements all the way back to the head unit (24V short to ground) Last piece is the Trident which isn't doing anything on 1Link though the 24V is there

Figured I let the community know - guys stay away from Neptune WAV pumps and the 1Link module Someone started a very nice thread on Neptune Community Forums, asking members who ran WAVs for more then a year Reports started coming in of the pumps starting to fail right between 1-2 years of use
